Curse of the Azure Bonds is NOT abandonware, runs on DOS and can be played in single player mode. Curse of the Azure Bonds is a licensed Dungeons & Dragons video game.

There is a prequel novel, Azure Bonds, that was written by Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb, and is the first book of the Finder's Stone trilogy.
