MindSpan developed the DOS sports game Face off! in 1989. Face off! is currently abandonware, runs on DOS and can be played in a side view perspective in single player, multiplayer (hotseat) modes. It's available for download.

The aspects that made famous this game were the change of camera if the hockey player shoots and it's close to goalkeeper and the mini-fightgame scenario during the match that occurs sometimes when a player commits a foul on an opposite team's member.
