- GrandMaster 11/08/2015 09:45Mechwarrior was the grand-daddy of first person mech sims, and MW2 was long without equal in its class. MW Mercenaries was the final instalment and what a last hurrah. For those that liked the smorgasboard of mission choices of the original, rather than the limited mission options of story driven Mechwarrior 2, this is your go-to game. It has a lot more mechs and slightly upgraded engine compared to MW2, but the extra dimension of salvage as well as picking sides makes playing the Merc better than ever!
