Akalabeth: World of Doom

Akalabeth is a RPG game allegedly developed in just one summer by the Ultima franchise creator Richard Garriott. It's a dungeon crawler with wire-frame black and white graphics. Akalabeth is played in both first person 3d and top down view points.

Collector's corner:

Garriott briefly distributed the game himself in Ziploc bags until California Pacific Computer Company bought the rights to it and published it. Akalabeth, based on Garriott's 28th game he produced in his high school years, became his first significant commercial game.
