Alternate Reality: The City review

The Games Machine -UK (1988): "Spending time exploring the city, building up experience points and generally just living there is interesting but the lack of an overall quest is irksome, while plodding around the city looking for work can soon become repetitive. The City will obviously appeal to RPG enthusiasts. Whether it will succeed with a wider audience is open to question however."
