"Still, KGB is a serious challenge and the kind of game that no one is likely to ever make again. It’s certainly unique; there simply aren’t that many games that take place in Soviet Russia, and despite the fact that it comes from outside French developers, it feels authentic. If you’re willing to invest months of time in it (most of which will be spent in replays, as the actual game is rather short), you’ll find an enjoyable spy adventure, with an interesting, if sometimes hard to believe, interpretation of the Soviet Union’s final days." - Just Games Retro

KGB was also released on CD under the title Conspiracy, which included clips of Rukov's father played by Donald Sutherland giving advice. For some reason, the CD version changed all instances of "KGB" to "Conspiracy", even in the manual.
