Warlords 2

SSG Strategic Studies Group developed the DOS fantasy strategy game Warlords 2 in 1993. Warlords 2 is currently abandonware, runs on DOS and can be played in a 1st person, 2D perspective in single player, multiplayer (hotseat) modes. It's available for download.

Warlords 2 included five maps, although the later released mission pack increased the number.

The updated version of the game — Warlords II Deluxe — was released in 1995. It allowed for custom tile, army and city sets for maps and provided support for 256 colours.

Long time Warlords player and enthusiast Bob Heeter imagined, and then organized, a multi-player tournament using Warlords II, through the newsgroup for strategic games.
