Dark Sun 2: Wake of the Ravager takes the harsh desert world of Athas and turns up the intensity. Building on its predecessor, it offers deeper role-playing, improved combat, and a sprawling narrative about saving civilization from—what else—a massive, looming evil. The combat is tactical and challenging, the characters are memorable, and the setting is uniquely brutal. Unlike most shiny fantasy worlds, Athas is unforgiving, and this game makes sure you feel it. Fans of the first will find a worthy sequel, though newcomers may feel like they’ve been dropped into a sandstorm without goggles.
Micheal, did you try to run SOUND.EXE to configure sounds? Some of the most problematic games on AbandonwareDOS are intentionally configured to run without sound for compatibility issues, but you can alwasy change the configuration within the game itself or by running the setup (sound.exe in this case, if I'm not mistaken).

WTF? Where's the background music for the opening? What a let-down!
