Pong v.2.1 clone is a 1984 recreation of the legendary arcade game that helped start the video game industry. The concept remains wonderfully simple: two players control paddles and attempt to bounce a ball past their opponent. Despite its basic appearance, Pong remains fascinating because it demonstrates how a few simple rules can create endless competition. This clone brings the classic experience to DOS computers, allowing players to enjoy digital table tennis without needing an actual arcade machine. Pong v.2.1 clone is a reminder of gaming history, when entertainment did not require complicated stories, massive worlds, or thousands of buttons. Sometimes all that is needed is a ball, two paddles, and someone who absolutely refuses to lose a point.
My control didn't work either. I tried starting a two player game, and the shift/control keys on the right worked fine. However, the shift/control on the left seems to be what matters.
