Arkanoid: Doh It Again revisits the classic brick-breaking formula with the familiar paddle, ball and increasingly fragile-looking collection of blocks. The objective remains wonderfully uncomplicated: keep the ball bouncing, clear the screen and avoid watching it disappear past your paddle. Power-ups add variety, changing the paddle, ball or general behaviour of the game and giving successful players new ways to dismantle each level. The challenge gradually becomes less about simply reacting and more about anticipating angles and controlling the rhythm of the ball. Although the formula dates back to the arcade era, it remains remarkably addictive because every missed shot feels like your own fault. There is no complicated tutorial and no elaborate story. Just you, a paddle, a ball and an increasingly unreasonable number of bricks demanding to be destroyed.
