Jeopardy!

The classic television quiz show made its way to computers with Jeopardy! in 1987. Players compete by answering questions presented in the show's famous answer-and-question format, testing knowledge across a wide range of subjects. The adaptation does a respectable job of recreating the experience of appearing on the show, minus the television cameras and nervous audience. Categories vary enough to keep things interesting, and success depends on both intelligence and confidence. Naturally, many players discover they know far less about random trivia than previously believed. Few games can make you feel brilliant one minute and completely baffled the next.
