King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride

King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride is one of the most colorful and playful entries in Sierra's long-running adventure series. The game follows Princess Rosella and her mother, Queen Valanice, after a magical mishap sends them into very different corners of a strange fairy-tale world. The hand-drawn animation gives everything a lively cartoon feel, while the puzzles range from clever to wonderfully ridiculous. As usual for King's Quest, talking to absolutely everyone is advisable, including creatures that probably have better things to do. The humor is generally lighthearted, and the game has plenty of odd characters and memorable situations. It is a charming adventure, although some puzzles can make you wonder what the designers were thinking.
