Rayman Forever

Rayman Forever brings together Rayman's colorful platforming adventure and additional content in a package aimed at giving players a generous helping of Ubisoft's imaginative mascot. Rayman has to travel through vibrant worlds filled with enemies, hazards, collectibles, and platforms that seem determined to make every jump slightly more stressful than necessary. The character's unusual design, floating hands and feet, and cheerful animation give the game a distinctive personality, while the level design gradually demands better timing and more careful exploration. The collection also includes extra material beyond the main adventure, making it a particularly substantial version for fans. Beneath the cartoon presentation is a properly demanding platformer, with some sections requiring persistence rather than button-mashing. It remains a charming example of 1990s platform design: colorful, inventive, occasionally mean, and extremely good at making you try one more time.
