If you liked Betrayal at Krondor, Return to Krondor is that younger cousin who tries real hard to live up to the family name. It's got 3D graphics (for 1998), turn-based combat, and a plot that’s practically marinated in Raymond E. Feist’s lore. You’ll face off against assassins, undead, and the greatest enemy of all: bad voice acting. The interface is clunky, the inventory hates you, and your party members have the emotional range of a cabbage. But hey, it’s got alchemy, intrigue, and more medieval sass than a tavern full of bards. A flawed gem with ambition.
