Robomaze

Robomaze is a compact action game built around navigating maze-like environments while dealing with mechanical enemies and assorted hazards. The premise is wonderfully straightforward: enter the maze, figure out where to go, survive whatever is moving toward you, and try not to become another piece of scrap metal. Its gameplay belongs firmly to the early-1990s tradition of games that expect players to learn through experimentation rather than lengthy tutorials. The graphics are functional and the environments are designed primarily around movement and challenge. As the maze becomes more complicated, keeping track of routes and threats becomes increasingly important. There is a pleasant simplicity to the experience, especially for players who enjoy old-school arcade design. Robomaze does not need an elaborate story to keep things moving; it simply presents a hostile maze and politely suggests that you should find your way out.
