Tangled Tales

Dungeons & Dragons meets Disney on a sugar rush. Tangled Tales is a bright, humorous RPG that cheerfully pokes fun at fantasy clichés while still serving a solid adventure. You’ll meet talking animals, snarky wizards, and probably regret your dialogue choices more than once. The art is charmingly colorful, and the interface—while a little fussy—was cutting-edge for 1989. The real magic, though, lies in the writing: whimsical, witty, and self-aware long before that became fashionable. It’s like questing inside a fairy tale written by someone who definitely owned a Monty Python VHS.
