Zany Golf is what happens when someone says, “Let’s make miniature golf, but with teleporters, hamburgers, and anti-gravity pads.” Part mini-golf simulator, part fever dream, this early EA title serves up surreal putting puzzles with a bouncy charm that’s hard to resist. You’ll curse, you’ll cheer, and you’ll definitely lose to your younger sibling at the Windmill Hole. The mouse controls are surprisingly tight for 1988, and the graphics are charming in that “Amiga demo scene meets Fisher-Price” sort of way. Warning: the magic carpet hole will haunt you forever.
