Moonstone

Mindscape developed the DOS fantasy rpg game Moonstone in 1992. Moonstone is currently abandonware, runs on DOS and can be played in a side view perspective in single player, multiplayer (same or split screen, hotseat) modes. It's available for download.

The game has a large cult following and is widely regarded as one of the best games available on the format, and is one of the most gory with some exceptionaly bloody fight and death scenes, similar in tone to the famous Black Knight fighting scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The title is a play on A Hard Day's Night (a song by The Beatles).
