Wipeout review
Computer Games Machine (1996): "The game is extremely difficult; once you've been through the tracks a few times, however, there's very little fresh to keep you playing. The graphics are OK in the PC version, with colorful low-resolution graphics in a true 3D texture-mapped environment. The game has a rushed look to it, and the number of tracks shipped with the game is less than originally intended. The music is excellent, assuming you're into robotic disco. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with WipeOut; it's just a bit on the dull side."Collector's corner:
The source code for the PlayStation and the Windows versions of the game was leaked on 27 March, 2022 by the video game preservation group Forest of Illusion.
