Abandonware adventure games - interactive fiction

Interactive fictions are textual adventure games in which the player gives textual commands in order to act within the given story. Different steps might be presented with added static pictures, but the character’s action are exclusively text-based. The genre’s stepping stones are Adventure, the Zork series, and every game by Infocom or by Legend (like the Gateway and Spellcasting series).
