Absolute Pinball

Absolute Pinball is a straightforward DOS pinball game that does exactly what its title promises, without pretending to reinvent the silver ball. Released in 1990, it offers several tables, each packed with the usual collection of bumpers, ramps, targets and other mechanical distractions designed to make you lose track of time. The physics may feel a little primitive by modern standards, but that is part of the charm: this is pinball without fancy 3D graphics, cinematic cutscenes or a downloadable content roadmap. Just launch the ball, hit things, chase a high score and inevitably blame the table when everything goes wrong.
