Abandonware DOS title

Bert and the Snake

In Bert and the Snake, you are Bert. And yes, there's a snake. That’s the plot. It’s a maze game from a time when naming conventions were refreshingly honest and graphics were aggressively square. You guide your little Bert blob through perilous corridors while avoiding a rather enthusiastic snake with boundary issues. It's the kind of game that might’ve been scribbled on graph paper during detention and then somehow found its way onto a floppy disk. Simple, sure—but you’ll be yelling at your screen when the snake corners you for the fiftieth time.
