Castle Fantasia

In Castle Fantasia, fantasy adventure and tactical combat come together in a Japanese RPG with a rather dramatic romantic storyline. You play Varu, a knight whose peaceful life is shattered when war claims the lives of his girlfriend's parents. Grief-stricken, she joins a mysterious religious organisation and disappears. Unfortunately, the group turns out to have considerably darker intentions than its charitable image suggests, involving kidnappings and plans to resurrect demons. Varu must set out to find her and confront the growing threat. Developed by Studio e.go! and released in 1998, the game combines anime-style artwork, fantasy elements and turn-based battles with adult-oriented content.
