If you thought Norse mythology needed more monochrome graphics, Caves of Thor (1989) has you covered. It’s an early Apogee game, meaning it’s tough, quirky, and uses letters for enemies. You explore a mysterious cave (aren’t they all?) to collect items and avoid sudden death. It’s less about Thor’s hammer and more about dodging question marks that want to kill you. A curio from DOS history, and surprisingly fun in a masochistic way.
