Part Cold War thriller, part adventure game, part submarine simulator, Code-Name: Iceman is a Sierra title that demands patience, precision, and a deep respect for diplomacy and torpedoes. You play as a super-agent with a license to flirt and navigate naval protocol. Expect sudden deaths, pixel-perfect puzzles, and a plot twist involving frozen sperm (seriously). It’s like The Hunt for Red October with more leisure suits and dead ends.
Computer Gaming World (1990): "Code-Name: Iceman has a lot to offer. If you are a regular Sierra fan or simply a regular guy/gal who likes James Bond Movies, this is a game that you will probably not want to miss."

@Jurjen: I've always found action (or similar) sequences in adventure games the worst thing a designer could put in a game. Star Trek and Rise of the Dragon come to mind.

I played the game at least ten times. All the way to that irritating submarine-simulator and no further. Problem is that when you are a split second too late in perform some action, it is 'game over'. I want to play that part with the YouTube-playthrough in a small corner of the screen and copy all the actions. Otherwise it is impossible to get through that part!!
