Dangerous Streets is a fighting game that clearly wanted to be the next Street Fighter—and instead became a cult oddity. The character roster is bizarre, the animations oddly floaty, and the hit detection occasionally questionable. Yet there’s a strange charm in its awkwardness, like watching a scrappy B-movie martial arts flick. The backgrounds are colorful, the soundtrack enthusiastically ’90s, and there’s enough over-the-top action to keep you grinning through the jank.
