David Wolf: Secret Agent

Back in 1989, David Wolf: Secret Agent tried really hard to make you feel like James Bond. You get car chases, fistfights, and enough cheesy dialogue to fill an action movie marathon. The graphics are blocky, the acting nonexistent, but the enthusiasm? Off the charts. It’s basically a playable B-movie, and that’s part of the charm. One moment you’re defusing bombs, the next you’re surviving a gunfight that looks like two Lego men throwing rocks at each other. Is it clunky? Absolutely. But if you can embrace the camp, you’ll find it’s more fun than it has any right to be.
