Abandonware DOS title

Death Sword

Better known as Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior in some regions, Death Sword (1988) is remembered less for its deep gameplay and more for its infamous decapitation move. Swing your sword just right and—plop—your opponent’s head rolls across the arena while a little goblin drags it away. Classy stuff. The rest of the combat? Let’s just say it hasn’t aged gracefully, with stiff animations and awkward controls. But the sheer shock value back in the day turned it into a legend. Play it now, and you’ll either laugh or wonder how kids got away with this in the ’80s.
