Abandonware DOS title

Dinopark Tycoon

Move aside, Jurassic Park—Dinopark Tycoon (1993, DOS) gave kids everywhere the chance to run their very own dinosaur zoo without the risk of being eaten alive. This educational sim disguised itself as entertainment, teaching players about budgeting, investment, and the consequences of overspending on T. rex enclosures. The graphics are simple, the gameplay straightforward, but it’s hard not to smile at the idea of balancing payroll while velociraptors loom in the background. In reality, most players learned one key lesson: never, ever let your dinosaurs escape. Still, as far as school-friendly tycoons go, it’s a prehistoric delight.
