Forgotten Worlds is what happens when gravity politely excuses itself and lets you spin in circles while shooting absolutely everything. Originally an arcade spectacle, this DOS version keeps the chaos intact: alien monstrosities, screen-filling bosses, and a hero who rotates like he’s permanently surprised. The weapon shop—run mid-level by a floating head, naturally—adds a dash of surreal charm. It’s tough, occasionally unfair, and gloriously loud in spirit even when your PC speaker protests. There’s a wonderful simplicity to its design: move, rotate, fire, survive. Subtlety is not invited. If you’ve ever wanted to somersault through space blasting biomechanical nightmares, this is your ticket.
