Released in 1990, Geisha is one of those games that makes you ask, “Who thought this was a good idea?” Part adventure, part fever dream, it’s filled with surreal art, bizarre puzzles, and enough questionable content to raise an eyebrow or two. The story has something to do with saving a kidnapped geisha, but you’ll be too distracted by the weirdness—like giant robot heads and inexplicable mini-games—to care. It’s not exactly highbrow, but it’s definitely memorable in that “I can’t unsee this” sort of way.
