Bigger, deeper, and just as punishing, Gengis Khan 2: Clan of the Gray Wolf (1992) expands the formula with more maps, more rulers, and more ways to fail spectacularly. Want to unify the Mongol tribes? Go for it. Want to marry off your children to strengthen alliances? Be my guest. Want to ignore all of that and just rampage across Asia with horsemen? Also an option. It’s a fascinating mix of strategy and roleplay, but patience is required—especially when your carefully laid plans crumble because your general decided to take a nap mid-battle.
