Abandonware DOS title

Heart of China

Heart of China is an adventure game that leans heavily into storytelling, weaving a tale of intrigue and danger across exotic locations. The narrative is its strongest asset, pulling players in with a mix of suspense and character-driven moments. Gameplay follows the classic point-and-click formula, requiring observation and a bit of lateral thinking. It may not reinvent the genre, but it executes its ideas with confidence. There is a cinematic quality to the experience, making it feel like you are part of an unfolding drama rather than just solving puzzles.

Heart of China review

"Another attempt at producing an interactive movie, Heart of China is notable for its arcade subsections and - more importantly - its beautiful digitised graphics. Set in the 1920s in Hong Kong, the basic plot involves the rescue of a nurse who has been kidnapped by a ruthless tyrant. The point and click game control interface works smooth, removing the need for any typing. This evocative action adventure is a must for VGA users." - PC Review  Issue 7 (1992)

I remember playing this when it came out, the graphics at the time were the best I had seen. We were blown away lol. Still a great point and click game though.
