Hercules

Hercules brings mythological heroism into the late 90s with the kind of enthusiasm that only that era could produce. It mixes action and platforming in a way that occasionally feels like a workout for both your reflexes and your patience. The game does a respectable job of capturing the larger-than-life feel of its source material, even if sometimes Hercules seems to struggle more with jumping than with legendary beasts. There is a certain earnestness to the whole experience, like a stage play where everyone is giving it their all. It may not be flawless, but it certainly has heart.
