Holiday Island is an old Windows XP city building simulation game developed by Sunflowers Interactive Entertainment Software in 1996 from an original idea by Niels Kokkelink, Moritz Baer, Rainer Michael. Holiday Island can be enjoyed in single player mode. It's available for download.
The budget is not good. I built too much in too little time. Well, at least there's one tourist on the beach enjoying the sun.

- Yau Yiu Ting - 02/03/2016 11:49There is a way to work in Windows 8. Download XP mode from Microsoft's website. It is a free software for developers to test programs on XP. Then put this game in there then everything's good.
- AbandonwareDOS - 22/07/2015 10:57Maju, I honestly don't know how to run Holiday Islands on Windows 8. I tried running in compatibility mode with no success. As far as I know, the only way is to run it in Windows XP using a Virtual Machine.
- Maju - 21/07/2015 20:39Does not seem to work in Windows 8. Any solution?
