Abandonware DOS title

Inner Worlds

Inner Worlds is the kind of side-scroller that sneaks up on you. At first, it’s a fantasy action-platformer—monsters, dungeons, the usual—but then you discover the transformation mechanic. Suddenly, your heroine can turn into a wolf, which adds a feral twist to combat and exploration. The atmosphere leans moody and mystical, with detailed pixel art and a soundtrack that sticks to your brain like incense smoke. There’s real depth beneath the claws and spellcasting, too: puzzles, varied levels, and just enough story to keep you curious. A cult classic that deserved far more attention than it got.
