Based on the James Bond film of the same name, James Bond 007: A View to a Kill arrived in 1985 and delivered a mixture of action and adventure sequences inspired by the movie. Players guide Bond through a series of challenges while attempting to stop the villainous Max Zorin. The game combines different gameplay styles, ranging from driving segments to exploration and puzzle-solving. Like many movie adaptations of the era, it occasionally asks players to make leaps of logic that would impress even a secret agent. Despite its limitations, it captures some of the charm and excitement associated with the famous spy and his globe-trotting adventures.
