Joe Blade 2

Joe Blade 2 continues the adventures of its unlikely action hero, once again placing him in situations where common sense would probably recommend staying at home. The sequel expands on the basic formula with more environments, enemies, obstacles, and opportunities for Joe to demonstrate his rather impressive ability to survive. Gameplay remains focused on exploration, action, and careful movement, with hazards requiring timing and attention. The simple graphics have plenty of retro charm, while the direct controls make it easy to understand what you are supposed to do even when the game is doing its best to make the task difficult. Joe Blade 2 is a good example of the uncomplicated action adventures that were popular during the 1980s. There is no need for a huge cinematic story: Joe has a problem, the bad guys are responsible, and apparently the only sensible solution is to send Joe in.
