Pac-Man is back, but this time the yellow fellow has a slightly bigger appetite and a rather more complicated maze to explore. Jr. Pac-Man introduces the offspring of the famous arcade character, bringing a new twist to the familiar formula of gobbling up dots while avoiding troublesome ghosts. The mazes are considerably larger than those in the original game, and scrolling screens make navigating them a different experience. Power pellets still offer a temporary chance to turn the hunters into the hunted, although timing remains essential. This 1988 DOS release brings the familiar arcade challenge to home computers, proving that a taste for dots can apparently run in the family.
