Abandonware DOS title

Kangaroo

Kangaroo transforms a determined mother kangaroo into one of gaming's most energetic heroes as she hops through colorful stages to rescue her kidnapped joey. Along the way she punches troublesome monkeys with boxing gloves, climbs ladders, dodges falling fruit, and somehow makes all of this seem perfectly reasonable. The controls are simple, yet mastering the timing requires genuine skill. Like many arcade classics of its era, it is easy to understand but surprisingly difficult to conquer. Its cheerful visuals, memorable gameplay, and wonderfully bizarre premise ensure that this hopping adventure still feels charming decades after its original release.
