Knights of the Sky (1990, DOS) throws you into the cockpit of a biplane during WWI, where every dogfight is a dance of death and machine oil. With dynamic campaigns and customizable aircraft, it offered one of the most authentic aerial combat experiences of its era. The flight physics are surprisingly convincing—just try not to stall while doing barrel rolls to impress the Kaiser. Think Top Gun, but everyone’s flying bathtubs with wings.
