Abandonware DOS title

Loopz

Loopz, released in 1990, is the kind of puzzle game that looks innocent for about five seconds before it starts humbling you. The concept is simple: connect the pieces, form loops, score points. The execution, however, is quietly brutal. This is pure logic distilled into clean lines and merciless pacing, with no story, no characters, and absolutely no sympathy for mistakes. And yet it’s hypnotic. There’s something deeply satisfying about watching order emerge from chaos, especially when the game steadily increases the pressure. Loopz feels like it was designed by someone who really loved puzzles and trusted players to love them too, without flashy distractions. It’s not flashy, it’s not forgiving, but it’s honest. You don’t play Loopz to relax; you play it to prove something to yourself, usually at the cost of your pride.
