Magic Pockets reviews

ACE magazine: "Right from the first the game's very tough - hair-tearingly, nailbitingly so at times - and it never lets up. and while repeated play does result in some progress, the game's difficulty far outweights its addictiveness, and you may jack it all in long before you reach the fourth world."

Computer and Video Games (1991): "It's easy to become lost in Pocketland whilst battling through the screens against enemies so cute it's almost a crime to dust them - and time flies as you venture just that bit further 'cos the desire to find out what comes next just grows and grows. Graphically it's excellent (even if we've already seen the style before in Gods) and the soundtrack, as usual, is superb. Better looking than Kylie Minogue and full of more features than Betty Boo's bicycle shorts, Magic Pockets is something to sing about. My advice is to buy this a bit quick - Do, do, do do..."
