Set in the infamous Underdark, Menzoberranzan brings the dark fantasy of the Forgotten Realms to life through a first-person role-playing adventure filled with drow politics, dangerous monsters, and enough intrigue to make a family dinner look peaceful. Players explore the sinister city, develop their characters, gather equipment, and engage in real-time combat against creatures that generally have very poor manners. The atmosphere is one of the game's greatest strengths, creating a genuinely oppressive sense of danger. Surviving Menzoberranzan requires preparation, patience, and perhaps avoiding eye contact with anyone carrying an unnecessarily elaborate sword.
