Murder on the Zinderneuf combines detective work with a wonderfully theatrical setting, placing players aboard a luxurious airship where a murder has occurred and practically everyone seems to have something to hide. Players investigate the crime by examining suspects, collecting clues, and making deductions while attempting to identify the culprit before the case becomes hopelessly complicated. The game offers considerable replay value because different characters can be responsible in different scenarios. It is a clever idea, although traveling on a giant airship suddenly seems less glamorous when the passenger list includes several potential murderers.
