In Nomad, you’re a space pilot with a ship full of bad decisions and a galaxy’s worth of trouble. The game throws you into a vast star map to explore, trade, and occasionally get blasted to atoms by pirates. There’s a storyline somewhere under all the chaos — something about saving the universe — but you’ll probably be too busy hauling minerals or trying to survive hyperspace dogfights. Imagine Star Control II if it were a little rougher around the edges but still strangely charming. It’s space opera on a shoestring budget, and somehow, it works.
It's not just the (amazing) graphics, it's also the story, if you're looking for a game where you have to explore worlds and at the same time discover the game's story, you need to play Project Nomad. This game has great design and you really get attached to some of the races that appear in the game and, again, each one tells part of the story of this amazing game. It really deserved a remake.
