Off Shore Warrior

Off Shore Warrior is a 1988 action game that combines military combat with the distinctly unusual setting of offshore environments. Players take control of a heavily armed vehicle or craft and face enemies across dangerous terrain, with the usual collection of explosions, obstacles, and situations where staying alive becomes the main strategic objective. The game has the unmistakable flavor of late-1980s action gaming: a tough protagonist, a hostile environment, and a mission that probably could have been handled more easily if everyone had simply agreed to talk. The action is direct and energetic, rewarding quick reactions and careful movement. Off Shore Warrior may not be the most subtle game in the world, but subtlety is rarely the first priority when the screen is filled with enemies. Sometimes the best plan is simply to keep moving and shoot whatever looks suspicious.
