Oxyd Extra

Oxyd Extra is a puzzle adventure centered on exploration, pattern recognition, and manipulating objects in increasingly elaborate environments. The player controls a small ball through maze-like stages, interacting with blocks, switches, doors, and other mechanisms while trying to uncover the correct route forward. The basic concept sounds simple until the puzzles begin combining several elements at once, at which point a room that looked harmless can suddenly become a serious test of patience. The game rewards experimentation, observation, and a willingness to try the same thing several times while insisting that the answer must be obvious. Its minimalist presentation leaves plenty of room for the mechanics to take center stage. Oxyd Extra has the particular appeal of a puzzle game that does not need flashy graphics to become addictive. Once you start solving rooms, stopping can become surprisingly difficult.
