PHM Pegasus

PHM Pegasus is a 1987 naval simulation that places players in command of a modern hydrofoil missile ship. The game focuses on controlling the vessel, managing weapons, and completing military missions where precision and strategy are essential. Unlike arcade naval games, PHM Pegasus emphasizes realistic operations and requires players to understand the capabilities of their ship. It offers a detailed look at naval warfare from the commander's perspective, where every decision matters. The game may not provide the relaxing experience of a seaside cruise, especially when enemy ships are involved, but it delivers a fascinating simulation of high-speed naval combat. PHM Pegasus proves that even a small vessel can create big problems when equipped with advanced technology and a determined captain.

PHM Pegasus reviews

ACT (1988): "What makes PHM Pegasus so much fun is the great gameplay and emphasis on action. Hard core simulation fans will probably find controlling the Pegasus far too simplistic, but action fans will love it."

The Games Machine UK (1988): "No change has been made to gameplay, the combination of simulation and arcade action is untouched and all the features of the C64 game are present. Both versions of PHM Pegasus are very much alike and while still good, the PC's presentation and graphic appearance is of an 8-bit game. PHM Pegasus supports CGA, EGA and Hercules MGA graphics boards."
