The game is listed as Police Quest 4 (PQ4) in the file names and the credits. The number does not appear on the title screen.
It is believed the killer in the game is based on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, noted for keeping body parts from his victims inside his house.
The CD version of the game contained copies of official LA police department employee and community relation polices.

- #1 - 12.07.2017 14:30 Old GamerUsed to love this game. Although, given the copies of the LAPD's regulations/policies, makes the game a little 'LESS' realistic.
Now, if they included the 'real' regulations; the official 'officer-only' version given by Daryl Gates himself, I might believe it.. However, there is no mention of that one protocol that involves the, "thorough beating of an unarmed motorist(s), followed by the sprinkling of crack rocks in said motorist's car", when actively profiling the minorities in your community.
Other than that, the game is top notch!
